Due to an exciting internal promotion, we're seeking an experienced Cable Locator to join our team. If you have a passion for providing top-notch service, enjoy working in a dynamic environment, and are ready to take your career to the next level, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Cable Locating: Accurately mark the location of cables across our six-county region, ensuring compliance with MISS DIG specifications. Prioritization & Organization: Review and organize cable locating requests by priority and location to ensure timely response. Collaboration: Work closely with contractors and members to proactively manage lead times and meet locating demands. Emergency Response: Be available for call-outs during major outages and after hours emergency locate requests. Flexible Hours: Some overtime may be required based on workload. Qualifications: High school diploma or G.E.D. required (Two-year college degree preferred). Minimum of two years of relevant electric utility experience (electric or gas distribution, telecommunications, HVAC, or facilities locating). Previous cable locating experience is required. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Why Choose Cherryland Electric?
