Description:
TriTech Enterprise Systems is seeking ‘Business Process Consultants (Seniors)’ to support a Maryland State client. These consultants will d evelop business requirements and business processes re-engineering methodologies. Solves application and process related problems by creating detail process and system design specifications; and works with other areas across the business units to support a total solution approach. Communicates business requirements for reports and applications development. Facilitates collaboration within and across business units and across IT functions. Resolves problems and improves business units’ technical environments. Preferred Skills: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Human Resources Management or a related field. An MBA or MPA is preferred. At least eight (8) years of experience in business process re-engineering. A n understanding of the Business Analyst Book of Knowledge (BABOK). B usiness Analyst CBAP (The IIBA.org) Certification or PMI BA Certification or Scrum Certification or other industry equivalent certification. The equivalent certification may be acceptable provided the Master Contractor demonstrate that they are functionally equivalent to the preferred certification. Required Skills: At least five (5) years of experience in reengineering large scale business processes. At least five (5) years of experience in Software Development Life Cycle, Requirement Lifecycle and Requirement Management to include the following: Requirements elicitation and definition Requirements planning and management Gap analysis Requirement documentation Requirement verification and validation Conducting feasibility studies Preparing business cases Solution assessment and validation. Prior experience and expertise in at least four of the following types of systems: Asset Management System Budget System Document Management System Financial System Infrastructure Support Maintenance Management Management Reporting Procurement Systems Project/Program/Portfolio Management Systems Business Process Improvement Prior experience creating use cases for System Design (e.g. system personalization/customization) support Prior experience leading and supporting efforts where SDLC, Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies were employed Solid understanding current and emerging IT products, services, processes, and methodologies along with a continuing understanding of business functions and processes Excellent contract management, coordination and organizational skills Familiar with JIRA, or other requirement management applications TriTech is an equal opportunity employer!
