A Carter Lumber Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for utilizing both internal and external data to solve problems, data mining and various types of analytics. Effective communication with the field and internal departments are mandatory for the success of this position. Requirements: Must be authorized to work in the US Must be able to reliably commute to Kent, OH Degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics or similar Ability to look for trends, analyze and report on data Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Knowledge of SQL preferred Working knowledge of data structures and data modeling Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills Familiarity with current BI software solutions Smartsheet experience preferred Minimal travel involved (may include overnight) Responsibilities: Analysis Establish KPI’s, set benchmarks, and forecasting Use external and internal data for mining and problem solving.
