Business Development Representative - Sacramento, CA Compensation: $19 - $21 per hour PLUS A STRONG COMMISSION STRUCTURE! Both recurring monthly and one-time commissions! Nexus HR is looking for a Business Development Representative, your role will be to seek and actively pursue new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential clients. About the Job: Being successful in this role requires previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with prospective clients from first contact to closed deals. You will also ensure proper after-sales service through onboarding handoff and communication support. Duties and Responsibilities: Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunitiesContact potential clients through cold calls and emailsPresent our company to potential clientsIdentify client needs and suggest appropriate products/servicesCustomize product solutions to increase customer satisfactionBuild long-term trusting relationships with clientsProactively seek new business opportunities in the marketSet up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account ExecutivesFollow up with Account Executives on their leads and appointments setWrite up estimates for the Account Executives in the fieldReport to the Client Strategy Manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales resultsStay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience in business-to-business (B2B) salesExperience in selling services or any recurring services is requiredProven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar roleHands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)Track record of achieving sales quotasExperience with CRM and/or project management software (ex: HubSpot, ClickUp)Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)Understanding of sales performance metricsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to deliver engaging presentations and communicationThe ability to work in an office full-time in Sacramento, California is required Benefits: DentalVisionMedical401kPaid Leave
