Summary: Reporting to the US Industrial Sales Manager, the Business Development Manager is a crucial team player of the Certarus Team and future growth strategy in the Southeastern USA region. The successful applicant will demonstrate industry leading outside sales organizational skills and is responsible for maximizing revenue by creating, managing and implementing best in class sales development activities to maximize growth.This exciting opportunity offers the successful applicant unlimited career advancement, with a dynamic, growth oriented, and employee focused organization. Essential responsibilities: Identify market opportunities and develop those opportunities inside your operating states. Achieve volume and margin sales targets for compressed natural gas to commercial and industrial markets Work together with operations and support functions to facilitate solutions for the customer Recommend solutions that best fit customer requirements; present and future needs Manage several strategic accounts and be responsible for profitable growth and pricing models of those strategic accounts Strong understanding of the art of negotiations and profitability analysis processes Expertise to implement and effectively manage sales programs Strong expertise to manage relationship at all levels Willingness to travel is a must. Valid Class C driver's license with clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Other duties as assigned Requirements: Min +five years of background in a related role Prior background in fuel distribution or energy services is an asset Demonstrated success in business development and sales to the Industrial market Demonstrated expertise in identifying and supporting the development and delivery of new products Demonstrated success working in a collaborative environment requiring intimate relationship development Background building and implementing a pricing strategy Background in negotiating contract terms, i.e., T&Cs, NDAs, Master Service Agreements, Supply Agreements, etc. Key background in the following industries is a plus: Propane, Asphalt; Pipeline and Power Generation Coverage States: Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, North and South Carolina Remote Office Location: Anywhere in Georgia or Florida Certarus offers a aggressive compensation program, including benefits and retirement plans as well as employee ownership opportunities.
