Business Development & Capture Principal CSEngineering is hiring a Business Development & Capture Principal to join our growing team and support corporate growth and U.S. Space Force business development initiatives to implement CSE's enterprise growth strategy! This position will be working within a matrixed organization to secure existing and new DevSecOps and Blockchain business opportunities with various DoD customers. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The Business Development and Capture Principal will report to the Chief Growth Officer and is responsible and accountable for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities aligned to CSE's growth strategy. The total compensation package for this member of the corporate team includes a generous salary, an aggressive bonus package, and an outstanding benefits package. Produce capture efforts, including associated proposals, throughout the entire capture/proposal process from opportunity identification to qualification, capture, proposal development to proposal submission. Lead and manage all internal and team stakeholder relationships (individuals, key people, teammates, working groups, etc.) to produce a discriminating offer that is compliant and responsive to RFP requirements and customer issues. Coordinate external stakeholder relationships (customers, acquisitions, etc.) with business development and operations leads. Formulate teaming strategy, structure, and select teammates based on an analytical assessment via Capability Matrix of strengths/weaknesses against customer issues, SOW/RFP requirements, and competition using GAP Analysis. Present capture plans, gate reviews, and proposal plans to the executive team and be receptive to constructive input. Be actively engaged, at all levels, in developing the price to win based on an analysis of the incumbents winning price and contract performance history, the customers' buying practices and recent awards of similar contracts. Understand and guide Solutioning and present to Chief Growth Officer and other participants. Be directly involved in the design of the technical and management solutions so they not only address customer issues and associated win themes but achieve the price to win working with CSE's Chief Financial Officer. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary to optimize PWin. Work with CSE leadership to define target capabilities and markets to establish key pursuits. Learn and be able to speak fluently to CSE's capabilities and past performance. Lead full life cycle capture management activities, including pipeline development, grooming, assessment, pursuit, capture, and bid processes. Conduct business intelligence and analysis activities to understand corporate capabilities/gaps, strategies, and win themes. Align pipelines to meet CSE annual growth objectives. Meet with prospective government customers to exchange information, understand challenges, influence requirements, and share information on potential solutions. Be a collaborative member of the CSE Growth Team with autonomy to build your own team. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Must have a Bachelor's degree. 8+ years of capture experience performing business development and capture management and proposal writing activities. Direct familiarity with various acquisition pathways (General Services Administration (GSA), One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS), Polaris, SEWP VI, eBuy, etc. Demonstrated experience leading capture and Proposal efforts using GWAC task order contract vehicles. Proven experience bidding work with either civilian, i.e. DHS, particularly U.S. Coast Guard, IRS VA, or DoD particularly USAF and Navy. Ability to direct, participate and lead Pipeline Management Process. Experience developing and executing capture strategies for new business opportunities. Strong relationships across multiple relevant organizations and subordinate organizations. Demonstrated ability leading and winning business pursuits in the small business and SDVOSB markets. Outstanding teamwork and collaboration skills to work with internal and external teams. Strong relationships and demonstrated ability to work with senior business and government leaders. Ability to participate in solutioning and proposal writing activities. Must be Process oriented. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to work in face-paced, complex small business environment. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Must be a United States Citizen.
