Salary (not posted), We're looking for a highly-motivated, results-driven business development/sales representative to actively seek out and engage prospects in the asset management industry. SalesFocus Solutions (www.sfsmars.com) is a leading provider of the MARS product suite for the asset management industry. Our clients include some of the largest mutual fund firms and ETF providers.The job mandates developing an understanding of our MARS product offerings and their value proposition within the the asset management industry, our competitive advantages, and formulating solution proposals which address the prospect’s business needs. Some of the job duties include identifying new opportunities, qualifying prospects and driving new business through the sales process including providing details and presentations to prospects and negotiating/closing software licensing and services agreements with C-level executives in the Asset Management Industry.Proven ability and work history with selling software products and related services, especially to C-level decision makers in asset management organizations is essential.Some of the position responsibilities are: Proven ability and work history with selling products and services, especially to C-level decision makers in asset management organizations, especially Mutual Fund firms; Responsible for the full sales cycle including generating leads, qualifying prospects, providing info and presentations, contract negotiation and closing opportunities; Develop a strong knowledge of the MARS product suite and services to be able to communicate solid arguments to prospective customers as to the business benefits in using our products and services; Develop and deliver sales presentations tailored to the prospective customer’s needs; Strong product demonstration and presentation skills; must be able to demo the product suite and communicate the product features and business value to prospects; Proven work history in identifying and closing new business opportunities; Expertise to independently direct activities to close business opportunities; Strong negotiating and closing skills; Expertise to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively; Superior verbal and written communications skills; Team member with high degree of enthusiasm for technology sales; Keep abreast of asset management industry and technology trends Asset Management industry background is essential; Base salary, plus commission and bonuses
