If you have the right blend of passion, enthusiasm, customer advocacy, curiosity, and creativity, you may just be right for a role on the Spot's Business Development and Product Incubation Team.Spot by NetApp delivers application-driven infrastructures that use analytics and machine learning to continuously optimize resources to application needs in real-time.Elastigroup and Ocean are Spot's automated infrastructure Products for autoscaling applications. With Spot, customers get dramatic cost reduction with maximum efficiency for both stateless and stateful workloads running in the cloud. Elastigroup and Ocean are intelligent traffic routing, predictive scaling and rebalancing, and infrastructure provisioning and pricing.As one of spot's Cloud Computing and K8s Product SMEs you will lead technical discussions, demonstrate the value of our products, advise on configuration and implementation, suggest solutions, help execute successful POCs and seamlessly work with the customer success team to ensure customer satisfaction. You will work closely with all teams at NetApp and provide customer feedback that leads to new products and features. Responsibilities Lead discovery sessions with customers to uncover areas where Spot can help.Design and present solutions that address customer needs and goals and maximize obtained value from Spot products.Demonstrate superb Sales Engineering skills (DevOps workflows, containerized applications, etc.) as part of an amazing team.Gain customer trust and guide them through successful POCs.Help DevOps, SREs and engineers understand application architectures and integration approaches, with full responsibility for pre-sale/post-sale cycle from a technical point of view.Have your opinion valued as a technical resource to all the sales teams at NetApp, while helping guide the future of the products and company vision.Have a customer obsessed mentality.Help the Spot portfolio continue to be the fastest growing part of NetApp, accelerating customer's journey to and through the cloud. Qualifications 5+ years within specific technology domain areas, such as Container orchestration, software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking.5+ Years of experience at a SaaS company working with public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).5+ Years of experience working in a customer-facing technical role (solutions architect, consulting, sales engineering, or related discipline).Experience working with and integrating enterprise systems using APIs.Experience with Bash, Python, and similar technologies including writing and maintaining code for infrastructure automation (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation).Interacts well with both technical and non-technical customers, strong understanding of relevant technical and business requirements, and able to design and present technical solutions with an emphasis on customer value.Strong capabilities in forging trust and engaging a remote or in-person audience.A passion to continually study new technologies, but most of all a drive to win!Preferred Qualifications :Experience as a DevOps Engineer or SRE.Experience with CI/CD tools(e.g.Jenkins, Gitlab, Chef, Ansible).Experience with one or more containerization platforms or products like Docker.Experience with relational SQL and non-relational NoSQL databases.Experience with Version control system (e.g. Git)Experience with JIRA (Issue Tracking) and Confluence (Requirements/Collaboration tool).Cloud (AWS, GCP Azure) Certifications. Education IC - Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.Mgr & Exec - Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience. USA and Canada Residents Only: The base salary hiring wage range for this position which the Company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position in the specified geographic areas or locations, is $102,690- $151,360.Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, candidate qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business and organizational factors, consistent with applicable law.
