You will be responsible for supervising the property's complete maintenance and routine processes to make it fully functional, enjoyable, and safe. Responsibilities: • Adhere to all engineering safety norms and procedures• Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly• Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment• Manage the hotel's machinery and preventive maintenance procedures• Stay in constant contact with co-workers, managers, and other departments Qualifications: • Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are needed• Driver’s license and outstanding driving record is necessary• Good knowledge of computer software; preferably facilities management software• The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required• This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED About Company: As downtown Chicago’s first hotel to enjoy Silver LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, our four-star hotel has mastered the art of combining luxury and sustainability.
