Position summary Key Focus on the Job: Maintain and Install chemical processing rotating equipment Job responsibilities: Background in plant maintenance practices and repair of general purpose and specialty mechanical rotating equipment Excellent oral communication abilities Must have the expertise to work in a team environment Must be able to perform pipefitting skills Must be able to work with other crafts to troubleshoot equipment issues Must have general knowledge in reading of equipment drawings Must be able to comprehend schematics and P&ID’s Schedule is primarily straight days, however may require weekends and nights as needed. Critical skills Commitment to safety and product quality Self-starter, able to function with minimal supervision Attention to detail and record keeping Able to follow directions and operating instructions precisely Flexible: able to perform more than 1 task at a time Willing to take ownership of the area and equipment Strong problem-solving skills Required experience Grace Millwright Level II or completion of vocational training, technical college or equivalent Min 4 (2) years of petrochemical plant background in rotating equipment, maintenance and troubleshooting Able to pass Grace field evaluation test Preferred Requirements Strong technical skills, SAP, Ms excel, etc. Able to operate manual lathe and milling machine for cutting threads, turning stock, cutting keyways, etc.
