Position Overview: PsychiaTreat is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis, working three days a week. This role offers an exciting career path with the potential to grow into a Full-Charge Bookkeeper and eventually a Controller position. Experience in the mental health sector is preferred but not required. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles. Manage accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, and reconcile accounts. Prepare and process payroll, including managing benefits and deductions. Monitor and reconcile bank statements and financial transactions. Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting and budget preparation. Support audits and ensure timely tax filings. Assist with transitioning to a Full-Charge Bookkeeper role and eventually a Controller position. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
