Job Title: Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) Location: Zanesville, Ohio Shift: Days with some evening hours; includes weekend and holiday rotations Salary: $49,000 - $64,000 annually Overview: We are seeking a Board Certified Music Therapist to join our team. This full-time role involves working with a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, and adults, to utilize music therapy as a tool for treatment and recovery. Responsibilities: Design and implement music therapy interventions to meet the needs of individual patients based on clinical assessments. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate music therapy into the overall treatment plans. Document therapy sessions, patient progress, and outcomes, adhering to professional and facility standards. Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment planning discussions. Engage in continuous professional development to ensure best practices in music therapy. Requirements: Must be a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC). Experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred but not required. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, and adults. New graduates with certification are encouraged to apply.
