QUALIFICATIONS FOR A BIM MODELER Minimum 1 year experience with Autodesk Revit (v2006 onward), in construction/architectural or related field. Associates Degree or higher in a related field. Knowledge and understanding of structural engineering concepts and terminology. Knowledge and understanding of standard drafting and engineering practices and methods. Must be self-motivated and have a desire for continued learning and personal growth. Must be highly detail-oriented with excellent organization skills. Must have the ability to think critically, innovate, and solve challenging technical problems related to modeling in Revit. Must possess a positive attitude towards project challenges. Must have effective time management and logical decision-making ability. Must possess a strong work ethic, the ability to handle pressure, and meet deadlines. RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Develop Revit Models for Precast concrete projects undertaken by the organization. Develop Erection drawings, detail drawings and Piece Tickets for the erection and fabrication of precast concrete elements from the Revit model. Assist sales by creating BIM Models for preliminary concept and visualization purposes. Develop and implement BIM standards and protocols for the organization Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to coordinate BIM models Manage the creation, maintenance, and distribution of BIM models and related documentation Conduct quality control checks on BIM models to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards Assist in clash detection and resolution. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in BIM technology While experienced concrete delivery professionals are always welcomed, we can train the right person!
