Description:
A company is looking for a Benefits Underwriting Associate to support underwriters and manage moderately complex accounts in health insurance. Key Responsibilities Assist in developing and servicing a book of business under the direction of designated underwriters Evaluate risks and make recommendations for renewals, endorsements, and new business policies Develop relationships with producers and act as the first point of contact for inquiries and support Required Qualifications, Training, and Education Bachelor's degree in business, finance, actuarial science, economics, risk management, or a related field 6 months to 1 year of underwriting support or related insurance experience required Health Insurance Underwriting experience is a plus State Accident and Health Insurance license is a plus Willingness to learn and develop strong technical skills in the Health Insurance Industry
