Bartender / Mixologist About Us: Scott's Pointe is a premier destination located in Calverton, NY. Our venue is home to the Lakeview Terrace Bar & Grill, we provide food and beverage service to our restaurant, 2 bars, and lakeside VIP Cabanas. We are able to cater for large events such as: corporate banquets, weddings, holiday parties, and other special occasions. About the Role: We are seeking a hard-working Bartender / Mixologist to join our team at the Lakeview Terrace Bar & Grill. You will mix and serve drinks to our patrons directly or to waitstaff for restaurant guests, cabanas, and party rooms. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to our innovative cocktail menu . Key Responsibilities: Serve alcohol and non-alcohol beverages to Lakeview Terrace Bar & Grill patrons, lakeside VIP Cabanas, and at major catered events. Interact with customers, take orders, serve snacks and drinks. Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations. Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks. Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age. Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience. Comply with all food and beverage regulations. About You: Proven working experience as a bartender / mixologist. Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks. Experience in a catering or events environment would be beneficial. Positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean. Relevant training certificate (e.g., TIPS certification). Able to work various shifts including weekends. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job the position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and crouching all day.
