Job description Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee and food service will enhance the customer experience, ensuring that each guest receives exceptional service.Schedule:M-F 7 am-10 amSaturday 7 am-1 pmWednesday 7 am-4 pm Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards. Assist with food preparation and ensure all food items are presented attractively and meet safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for order taking and cash handling. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards. Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the health and safety of all customers. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support overall store operations. Requirements Previous experience in food service or preparation is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation is a plus. Excellent sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively. Proficient in cash handling and operating POS systems. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. A friendly demeanor with a passion for helping others create memorable experiences through quality service.
