This position offers an opportunity to work within a prominent nationwide bankruptcy litigation practice that handles complex corporate restructurings, distressed asset acquisitions, and creditor rights litigation. The ideal candidate will have experience in Chapter 11 cases and a background in creditor and debtor representations.LocationWilmington, DelawareDutiesRepresent clients in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and creditors' rights litigation.Assist with corporate restructurings and Chapter 9 municipal insolvency cases.Participate in distressed asset acquisitions and out-of-court restructurings.Engage in litigation related to commercial landlord practices in major retail bankruptcy cases.Work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment to achieve client objectives.Requirements2-3 years of experience in bankruptcy litigation, specifically in Chapter 11 cases.Strong academic credentials and communication skills.Excellent written work product.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.CertificationsActive bar license required; Delaware Bar admission is preferred.SkillsProficient in bankruptcy law and creditor rights litigation.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple cases and meet tight deadlines.Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and team collaboration.BenefitsComprehensive health coverage, including medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug plans.Life insurance and short-term and long-term disability coverage.401(k) retirement savings plan with additional benefits like flexible spending accounts (FSAs) and a health savings account (HSA).Family-friendly benefits, including firm-subsidized emergency child and elder care services.Pre-tax transportation program and employee assistance program.Generous family and medical leave policies.
