Southern Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram is hiring Automotive TechniciansChesapeake, VA - Newport News, VA - Virginia Beach, VATechnician Benefits: $18-$30 an hour/based on experience Health Insurance Dental Insurance Free wellness program Life Insurance Long term/ short term disability PTO 401K Paid TrainingTechnician Responsibilities: Diagnoses issues based on experience, analysis, and testing Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs Repairs automobiles and light trucks as assigned Maintains cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards Helps maintain shop appearance and safety standards and ensures the shop runs efficiently by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions Follows all shop policies, procedures, safety, and environmental rules Attends all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required Performs other duties as assignedTechnician Requirements: High school diploma or GED required Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent work experience Two years of dealer-level or large facility experience preferred ASE certification (or is willing to obtain certification) Virginia State Inspection License (or is willing to obtain license) Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving recordAbout Southern Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RamFor over 40 years, the residents of the Hampton Roads region have enjoyed the presence of one of the biggest auto groups in the area and the impeccable service therein.
