RemX is seeking an Automation Technician based in the Chicago area.$99k base- 50% travel, full benefit package - Direct Hire role! Come work for a company where the employees love what they do!(Role is open due to GROWTH!)Duties: * Create technical project documentation. * Assist outside personnel in troubleshooting technology. * Evaluate new technologies and innovations. * Work on functional and risk analyses with design stakeholders. * Modify software to meet specifications. * Train company personnel to implement and troubleshoot new functions and techniques once developed. * Travel 50% (typically 3 weeks in and 1 week out of office per month).Requirements: * PLC experience (Motion control in B&R) * Experience with Software designer (Structured text, ladder Logic, and Function Block) * Experience with Automation Studio (B&R) * Experience with Rockwell Studio 500 * Experience with Siemens TIA Portal V17 * Experience with NFPA 79 * Experience with Rockwell Automation: Safety Automation Builder * Experience with SISTEMA is a plus. * BS in Electrical Engineering * Prior experience troubleshooting industrial control systems.$99k base- 50% travel, full benefit package - Direct Hire role!
