Our law firm is looking for an attorney who is ready to represent our existing client base. The ideal candidate will work closely with the firm’s clients, administrative staff, and senior partners. If you have the ability to handle a diverse caseload, have stellar research and writing skills, can communicate effectively, and use today’s technology well, please start your application today! Responsibilities: • Appear in court on behalf of clients and argue motions during legal proceedings• Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action• Complete legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, and briefs• Manage administrative assistants, paralegals, and law clerks • Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence• Identify client conflicts and determine case strategies with options for resolution Qualifications: • Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role• Must be a member of your local bar association - active member preferred • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed• Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required• Over 1 year of experience representing clients in a law firm Compensation: $100,000 About Company: Benefits: Base salary with discretionary bonusComprehensive health benefits package including health, vision, and dental.401(k) plan with 4% match.10 days paid time off (PTO) annually with an additional day accrued per year at the firm plus all federal holidays and ancillary days.Opportunities for professional development and continuing legal education (CLE).Supportive and collaborative work environment with mentorship and career growth.
