This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, handling complex civil litigation matters and making a tangible impact for clients.Location:Lancaster, CA Duties:Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including researching, drafting pleadings, and handling motions.Prepare and file legal documents, including complaints, answers, and motions.Conduct legal research to support case strategies and arguments.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials.Participate in depositions, hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations.Manage a caseload, ensuring cases are prepared and deadlines are met.Collaborate with senior attorneys and colleagues to develop case strategies.Perform advocacy and present arguments in court when necessary.Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.Requirements:1 to 4 years of experience in civil litigation.Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.Exceptional writing and oral advocacy skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Strong time management and organizational skills.Ability to thrive under pressure and manage competing priorities.Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibilities.Passion for client advocacy and trial work.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in California (active status).Skills:Excellent written and oral communication skills.Strong research and analytical abilities.Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.Proficient in legal drafting and case preparation.Ability to collaborate effectively with a team of attorneys and support staff.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Benefits:401(k) with profit-sharing.Health and dental insurance (80% employer-paid premiums).Vision insurance.Life insurance and supplemental insurance plans through MetLife.Referral incentives.Relocation bonus.
