The ideal candidate will have a solid background in various areas of law, including securities law, estate planning, immigration law, and personal injury law. This role requires strong legal research and writing skills, as well as experience using legal research tools like Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw. The Attorney will provide expert legal advice, represent clients in legal matters, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Location:Bayside, NYDuties:Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy development.Draft, review, and revise legal documents including contracts, pleadings, and motions.Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and mediations, advocating for their best interests.Provide legal advice on various matters including securities transactions, estate planning strategies, immigration processes, and personal injury claims.Maintain accurate records of client interactions and case developments to ensure effective communication and compliance with legal standards.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop and implement comprehensive case management strategies.Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact clients or the firm’s practice areas.Requirements:Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is required.Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.Proven experience in one or more areas of law such as securities law, estate planning, immigration law, or personal injury law is preferred.Strong skills in legal research and writing, with proficiency in Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines under pressure.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.Skills:Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese).Legal research and writing skills.Proficiency with Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.Strong analytical skills with a focus on attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple cases and work effectively under pressure.Benefits:Comprehensive benefits package (details may vary).Opportunities for professional development and career growth.
