The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, administrative staff, and senior partners, handling a diverse caseload with strong research, writing, and communication skills. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an attorney to develop their career in a supportive and client-focused environment.Location:Davis, CADuties:Prepare legal documents for clients, including briefs, motions, pleadings, and correspondence.Oversee administrative staff on tasks such as client invoicing, billing records, and meeting scheduling.Identify client conflicts and develop case strategies with resolution options.Conduct legal research and draft briefs, pleadings, and motions for various legal matters.Represent clients in court and argue motions during legal proceedings.Maintain regular communication with clients and provide updates on case progress.Requirements:Minimum of 1 year of experience representing clients in a law firm setting.Proficient in legal research software such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal communication skills.Public speaking and courtroom experience are required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook).Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in the California Bar Association (preferred).Skills:Excellent legal research and writing abilities.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Ability to handle a diverse caseload and work collaboratively with a legal team.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong interpersonal skills for client management and public speaking.Benefits:Opportunities for professional growth and development.Collaborative and client-focused work environment.
