Our busy law firm is growing and we are looking for talent that works hard to represent our clients well. The prime candidate will work seamlessly with both senior partners as well as administrative staff in an effort to effectively serve our clients. If you have excellent research and writing skills, can easily use today’s technology, and communicate effectively across all levels, we would love to connect! Responsibilities: • Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff• Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions• Preside over paralegals, administrative assistants in connection with keeping track of time records, reviewing client billing, setting up client meetings and completing client projects • Get the appropriate legal documents ready for clients, such as brief, motions, and pleadings, as well as correspondence• Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies Qualifications: • Decision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must• Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience in representing clients for at least 2 years• Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required• Work independently while handling a heavy caseload• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed Compensation: $75,000 - $85,000 yearly DOE About Company: Here's who we are: We are a small, family-oriented law firm.
