Our Assurance Solutions Team guides clients to manage compliance and avoided surprises by providing specific improvements. We perform a variety of specialized audits that include HUD Audits, Employee Benefit Plans, and Single Audits. As an Associate Manager with the Mahoney Assurance Solutions Team, you will assume a pivotal role in providing a variety of accounting functions for clients, including: Leverage strong and organized project management skills to plan, manage, review, and complete engagements Supervise, evaluate, and provide feedback to staff Develop new client contacts and cultivate relationships that are essential for the firm's growth and success Assist in preparation of proposals for new and existing clients while recognizing opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients Create and deliver presentations at client and firm meetings Consistently provide effective communication across all organizational levels internally and with various clients Participate in professional, civic, or community activities Our preferred candidates will have: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA license and 4+ years of experience in public accounting Experience in Real Estate and/or Non-Profit organizations Prior experience with CCH software products (Axcess Tax, Engagement, Document) is a plus We offer a competitive base pay range of $80,000 to $95,000 per year. During busy season, most accountants work 55-hour weeks. Mahoney offers a range of unique benefits to our staff.
