The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of expertise in healthcare regulatory matters, focusing on reimbursement compliance and transactional due diligence. This role is an excellent opportunity for a professional eager to thrive in a dynamic, diverse, and fast-paced environment.DutiesProvide legal expertise in reimbursement, including compliance, coding, coverage, and payment for innovative products and services.Conduct comprehensive transactional due diligence and support in deal documentation and negotiations related to emerging companies, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and capital markets.Offer guidance on fraud and abuse regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws.Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop effective regulatory strategies tailored to specific needs.Stay informed about current regulations and market trends impacting the healthcare sector.Prepare and review a variety of legal documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.RequirementsMinimum of three years of relevant experience in healthcare regulatory law.Strong understanding of reimbursement compliance and transactional processes.Preferred experience in fraud and abuse counseling and compliance.Exceptional analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Strong academic performance is preferred.CertificationsMust be licensed to practice law in MA.SkillsProficient in legal research and regulatory analysis.Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.Capable of clearly articulating complex legal concepts to clients and colleagues.Experience drafting and negotiating regulatory documents effectively.BenefitsOpportunities for professional development and career advancement.Supportive and inclusive workplace culture.LocationBoston, MA (Candidates from other locations may also be considered).The firm is committed to fostering diversity in the workplace and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
