The candidate should preferably have knowledge of all aspects of education law, including special education and Section 504, student discipline/HIB, public school contracts, labor negotiations, board operations, personnel matters, tenure and seniority, civil rights, employment discrimination, and school construction.Additional Skills: The candidate must have strong academic credentials. Strong writing skills are required. The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team is essential. The firm offers a flexible work schedule, the ability to work partially remote, and a competitive benefits package including 401K, health benefits, CLEs, and paid time off.
