This role is ideal for candidates who possess a solid background in general litigation, including labor and employment matters. The firm values collaborative efforts and is dedicated to providing exceptional legal support to clients.DutiesHandle various labor and employment cases, including class action and representative actions, as well as single-plaintiff matters.Provide general employment advice and counsel to clients.Manage all aspects of discovery, including drafting motions, and briefs, and conducting or defending depositions.Participate in evidentiary hearings and status conferences, and present arguments for dispositive motions.Assist in trial preparation and may take part in trial proceedings.Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare written documentation to support cases.Requirements3-5 years of experience in general litigation and/or labor and employment law.Demonstrated experience with class action lawsuits and other representative actions.Strong understanding of employment-related legal principles.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.CertificationsAdmitted to practice law in California and in good standing.SkillsExcellent research and writing abilities, particularly in legal documentation.Strong litigation skills, including the ability to effectively argue motions and manage depositions.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Effective communication skills for client interactions and courtroom presentations.Location San Diego, CA, USBenefitsComprehensive health and wellness benefits.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Supportive work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.Work-life balance initiatives promoting employee well-being.
