This position is tailored for candidates with a robust background in general litigation and labor law. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to client service and possess the ability to navigate complex legal matters.DutiesManage a variety of labor and employment cases, including class action lawsuits and single-plaintiff matters.Provide comprehensive employment advice and legal counsel to clients.Oversee discovery processes, including drafting motions, and legal briefs, and conducting or defending depositions.Participate in evidentiary hearings and status conferences, and effectively argue dispositive motions in court.Assist in trial preparation and may represent clients during trial proceedings.Conduct detailed legal research and produce high-quality written documentation to support case strategies.Requirements3-5 years of experience in general litigation and/or labor and employment law.Familiarity with class action and representative actions.Proven ability to provide sound legal advice on employment-related matters.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.CertificationsAdmitted to practice law in California and in good standing.SkillsStrong legal research and writing capabilities.Excellent litigation skills, including the ability to effectively manage depositions and court arguments.Capacity to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Strong communication skills for effective client interactions and courtroom presentations.Location Sacramento, CA, USBenefitsComprehensive health and wellness packages.Opportunities for ongoing professional development and advancement.Supportive work environment that encourages teamwork and innovation.Initiatives promoting a healthy work-life balance for all employees.
