This role involves frequent court appearances and requires a proactive approach to case management and client support. The successful candidate will work alongside senior attorneys and independently manage cases, providing quality legal representation and advice to clients.DutiesConduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support case strategies.Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, covenants, pleadings, and settlement agreements.Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations, primarily in civil litigation and creditor collection matters.Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and manage an independent caseload.Maintain organized records of client interactions and case progress with effective legal administrative practices.Lead client meetings to discuss case progress and outcomes.RequirementsActive admission to the Georgia Bar.Experience or coursework in courtroom litigation, creditors' rights, collections, and community association law.1 year of experienceProficiency in legal research tools, particularly Westlaw.Strong analytical skills with demonstrated effectiveness in negotiation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while effectively managing individual responsibilities.EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.CertificationsGeorgia Bar License (required).SkillsProficiency in legal research and case preparation, particularly using Westlaw.Strong organizational skills for managing client files and case records.Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.Ability to communicate effectively with clients, court officials, and team members.Job LocationHiram, GABenefits401(k) plan with matching optionsComprehensive dental, health, and vision insurancePaid time off for personal and professional needsProfessional development assistance to support ongoing learning and growthA supportive and collaborative work environment focused on professional excellence
