This full-time role offers the opportunity to work alongside senior attorneys, gain extensive courtroom experience, and develop expertise in legal research and case management.Location:Gary, INDuties:Conduct comprehensive legal research using platforms such as Lexis-Nexis and WestlawDraft and prepare legal documents, including briefs, contracts, and pleadingsAssist with legal administrative tasks, such as filing, organizing, and managing case filesParticipate in client negotiations, representing their best interestsRepresent clients in court, managing litigation as necessaryWork with senior attorneys to develop and refine case strategiesAttend client meetings to provide legal guidance and adviceRequirements:Minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney in a similar roleStrong research and legal drafting abilitiesProficiency in legal administrative procedures and document managementExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong negotiation skills for client representationEducation:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Active license to practice law in IndianaSkills:Skilled in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and WestlawEffective legal document drafting and review skillsStrong organizational and file management abilitiesAbility to collaborate effectively with colleagues and provide clear guidance to clientsExcellent time management to handle multiple cases and deadlines
