The attorney will work in a collaborative environment to support clients with property insurance claims, offering counsel, handling civil litigation, and representing clients in court. This role is designed for a motivated self-starter who excels in problem-solving and has a strong commitment to providing excellent client service.Location:Bloomington, MNDuties:Build and maintain relationships with clients, assessing legal needs and offering tailored adviceExplain legal options and potential risks, keeping clients informed of possible outcomesRepresent clients in court proceedings and negotiations, developing strong legal argumentsPrepare and review legal documents, such as easements and covenantsRespond promptly to client inquiries, ensuring communication within 24 hoursStay updated on relevant legislation and changes in property insurance lawUphold ethical standards and seek effective solutions to client legal mattersCollaborate with other attorneys to optimize client serviceMaintain a minimum of 1,650 billable hours annuallyAssign and oversee tasks for legal assistants as neededRequirements:1-3 years of civil litigation experienceStrong commitment to client service and ethical conductAbility to handle a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines effectivelyEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Active admission to the Minnesota State Bar (required)Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skillsProficient interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactionsExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailTime management skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasksAnalytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in legal researchFamiliarity with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
