This mid-level position focuses on defending medical malpractice cases from inception through trial, collaborating with a diverse team and handling a range of complex cases. Ideal candidates bring at least one year of litigation experience and a commitment to providing dynamic client advocacy.Duties:Collaborate with senior trial attorneys to manage cases from initiation to trial, with opportunities to second-seat trials.Draft and respond to discovery demands.Represent clients at court conferences and argue motions.Conduct depositions and engage with expert witnesses.Provide updates and advice to clients on case progression and prepare detailed status reports.Draft and file motions on complex legal and medical matters.Requirements:Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience, preferably in medical malpractice or defense litigation.Strong organizational and case management abilities.Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active Bar license (preferred) and in good standing.Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to handle discovery, draft motions, and conduct depositions.Strong client communication and counseling skills.Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
