This position offers the opportunity to manage legal processes from inception through post-judgment, serving clients within a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in legal analysis, negotiations, and courtroom representation, and will demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality work while upholding respect and fairness for all clients.DutiesConduct detailed legal research, drafting, and analysis for various case matters.Manage a high caseload, ensuring timely and effective legal and regulatory risk assessment.Represent clients in court proceedings, including trial preparation and attendance at hearings across North Carolina.Engage in negotiations with opposing counsel to resolve cases effectively.Collaborate with the Managing Attorney to report progress, results, and case developments.RequirementsExperience: 0-3 years in bankruptcy, collections, or civil litigation law, including court proceedings and associated regulations.License: Active license to practice law in North Carolina; additional licenses in GA, SC, TN, FL, VA, MD, MI, or OH or UBE certification are a plus but not required.Travel: Willingness to travel to various courts within North Carolina, as needed.EducationDegree: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.CertificationsLicensure: Active law license in North Carolina.SkillsLegal Analysis: Proficiency in case law analysis and providing recommendations.Technology: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite for efficient case management.Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and legal documentation.Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple cases in a fast-paced setting.
