This full-time role provides a hybrid work environment and an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic legal team focused on civil litigation.Duties:Manage various aspects of construction defect litigation, including drafting and responding to discovery requests and initial pleadings.Prepare and argue legal motions effectively in court.Conduct depositions, including taking and defending witness testimonies.Perform in-depth legal research to support case strategies and outcomes.Collaborate with team members to ensure thorough representation of clients in all phases of litigation.Requirements:Significant experience in construction defect litigation on the defense side.Strong research and writing abilities to produce clear and persuasive legal documents.Proven capacity to handle multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in the California State Bar.Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.Proficiency in legal research techniques and documentation management.Benefits:401(k) retirement plan.Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.Life insurance and flexible spending accounts.Opportunities for professional growth and development.
