This full-time position offers a hybrid work environment and the opportunity to engage with a dynamic team dedicated to civil litigation.Duties:Handle all phases of construction defect litigation, including drafting and responding to discovery requests and initial pleadings.Prepare and argue legal motions in court to advocate effectively for clients.Conduct depositions, taking and defending witness testimonies as needed.Perform comprehensive legal research to support case strategies.Collaborate with team members to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced setting.Requirements:Proven experience in construction defect litigation on the defense side.Strong research and writing skills, with the ability to produce clear and persuasive legal documents.Self-starter mentality with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in the California State Bar.Skills:Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.Proficiency in managing case documentation and adhering to deadlines.Benefits:401(k) retirement plan.Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.Life insurance and flexible spending accounts.Opportunities for professional growth and development.
