Our Stingrays Swim Team is a USA swim team at Lakeshore Sport & Fitness. On Stingrays we combine a passion for swimming alongside a competitive edge that is fun and focused. This role reports to the Aquatics Manager and Stingrays Head Coach and is responsible for the operation of the swim team including organizing, completing assigned tasks, and working with swimmers.Attending 5 practices per week and coaching all levels of the team. Supporting swimmers through drills and different practice sets. Getting to know the swimmers and their goals to offer personalizes coaching geared towards each swimmers ability. Helping swimmers overcome challenges and prepare for the next meet. Reviewing meet feedback and working to improve in each meet. Talking with parents on deck to answer questions. Supporting tryouts and collaborating with coaches on practices as needed. Attend monthly coaches meetings to review practice goals. Attend Team Socials throughout the year and support in the socialization of swimmers. We have 5 groups in our Stingrays Swim Team. The Mini group, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Senior. This team runs based on ability. All Employees of Lakeshore Sport and Fitness operate with a sense of professionalism, ownership, teamwork, high sense of quality, and a lot of celebration for successes. All Employees are members of the club and become an integral part of the community. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING Must be at least 16 years of age Minimum of 1 years coaching experience preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Knowledge of competitive swimming Knowledge or experience in instructing swimmers ages 6 - 18.
