Employbridge Search is currently conducting a search for an Assistant Project Manager in the Los Angeles CA area. The Assistant Project Manager will be working closely with the Project Managers and leadership in major projects within the construction process. This is a great opportunity to grow into a project manager role! RESPONSIBILITIES: * Managing and calling on assigned accounts throughout the life cycle of the construction process which includes bidding, project planning, delivery completion, and managing budget against actual costs. * Account management and expansion on assigned customers to generate additional sales. * Prepare quotes based on customer's requests, project plans and specifications. * Evaluate materials, visiting job sites, and trouble shoot any issues along with eliminating any unforeseen issues. * Coordinate with installer crews to schedule installations, coordinating with customers regarding project details, scheduling and project close out * Maintain a project time-line and schedule deadline of each customer's account * Work with cross-functional teams to ensure product and projects are on task * Travel to job sites to ensure projects are in compliance with bid guidelines * Other ad hock projects as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: * High School Diploma. College courses in business highly preferred * Construction Industry experience highly recommended * Excellent presentation skills both written and verbal * Strong customer service and project management experience * Expert in MS Office Products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), CRM and project management programs. Salesforce a plus * Exhibits analytical, program-solving, mathematics skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Ability to read Blueprints and plans * Travel to job sites as required * In accordance with California laws, the expected salary for this position starts at $70,000- $80,000/year. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and education
