Assistant Professor of Politics and International Affairs (Winston-Salem, NC) Teach undergraduate courses and conduct and publishes research focused on Latin American Politics. Serve as director of the Latin American and Latino Studies (LAS) Program. Teach LAS 210 Introduction to Latin American and Latino Studies and other courses in the Politics and International Affairs (POL) Department, cross-listed with LAS, such as POL 236 Government and Politics of Latin America and, as needed, contribute to teaching of POL 114 Comparative Government and Politics. Job Requirements: PhD in Political Science. Foreign equivalents accepted. 2 years teaching university level courses in Latin American politics. Record of research and publication in disputed elections, electoral violence, democracy and democratization, and comparative political institutions, particularly focusing on Latin American contexts.
