Since 2019, we have established ourselves as a premier supplier of frac sand to oil & gas companies across the country. We are currently looking for the right individuals to join our team. Job Summary: This role is crucial for the success of our sand processing facilities. It supports the Plant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient production while meeting safety standards. Responsibilities include supervising teams, managing schedules, and contributing to improvement initiatives. Key qualities needed are efficiency, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving. The goal is to optimize production processes and lead the team to deliver high-quality frac sand. Key Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities of the Assistant Plant Manager include but are not limited to: Assisting the Plant Manager in planning, directing, and coordinating all production activities within the plant. Collaborating with various department heads to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues. Monitoring equipment maintenance and facility upkeep to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime. Assisting with budgeting, cost tracking, and financial performance of the plant. Key Tasks and Duties: Within the scope of the aforementioned responsibilities, the Assistant Plant Manager will undertake tasks such as: Preparing and reviewing operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Overseeing the hiring, training, and dismissing of staff. Preferred Qualifications: Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of production and manufacturing processes and machinery. Understanding of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and resource allocation Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
