Assistant Finance Manager Croydon office based£40,000 - £45,000Monday to Friday 8.45am - 5.30pm KHR has partnered with a reputable transportation business offering service internationally, which at present has a varied and challenging opportunity for an Assistant Finance Manager. As Assistant Finance Manager you will be working within a small team led by the Finance Manager, therefore your role will be varied and transactional at times. Assistant Finance Manager Croydon office based£40,000 - £45,000Monday to Friday 8.45am - 5.30pm KHR has partnered with a reputable transportation business offering service internationally, which at present has a varied and challenging opportunity for an Assistant Finance Manager. As Assistant Finance Manager you will be working within a small team led by the Finance Manager, therefore your role will be varied and transactional at times. Duties and Responsibilities include: - Producing daily rates- Bank reconciliation- Credit card analysis- Month-end procedure- Year-end procedure- Prepare and submit industry-based monthly and quarterly reports- VAT reconciliation and quarterly submission- Fixed Asset register- Payroll- Pension- Supplier Payments- Overseas payments- Approving supplier invoices- Multi-currency reconciliation - ONS Declarations- Identify and address discrepancies- Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable to the Finance Manager- Update internal CRM and our accounting database and spreadsheets Candidate Profile - 3 years of experience in a senior financial position- A good understanding of financial management obligations, especially statutory obligations, and requirement- Experience with SAP, would be an advantage- Advanced knowledge of Excel- Solid data entry skills with good attention to detail- Good organisational and time-management abilities Standard benefits include 28 days holiday, and statutory pension.
