Assembly Team Lead - 1st Shift Join one of Northeast Ohio?s fastest growing manufacturers. We are hiring for Assembly Team Leads. Overtime, attendance bonuses and benefits are offered to associates. These positions are long term and potential direct hires depending on experience. Assembly Team Lead Requirements: Lift and carry at least 25 poundsWork in confined spacesAbility to lead in a fast-paced; multi-tasking environment and meet operational deadlines.Ability to work individually and with others to identify, escalate, troubleshoot, and resolve non-conforming machine, process, product, or environmental issuesAbility to coach, train, and develop others as a leader of an agile and flexible workforceExcellent verbal and written communication with positive attitudeDetail-oriented and able to identify discrepancies with parts, process, or paperworkEffective computer skillsAssembly Team Lead Responsibilities are: Serve as primary backup to the Production Supervisor for all assigned departmentsProvides documentation to support Production -Supervisor in managing performance concerns as well as recognizing exceptional performanceCompletes various audits on production, safety, and quality processesProvide communication to the team as the first point of contact in the escalation procedure. Coach, guide, develop, and train employees to meet production goals and improve skillsetsKnowledge of Lean methodologies. Lead and drive engagement in MDI, 5S, Waste Elimination, and Kaizen activitiesProvide communication to the team as the first point of contact in the escalation procedure. Coach, guide, develop, and train employees to meet production goals and improve skillsetsAssembly Team Lead Compensation: $20.00 - $22.50/HR - Depending on experiencePaid Vacation and holidays after waiting periodBenefits and attendance bonus401K after waiting periodIndCP
