Position overview Area Manager Position description SUMMARY The Area Manager plays a key role in creating awareness and excitement with our partners and customers for all Orchid Ventures Inc. dispensary focus cannabis brands. The position is summarized in 3 main categories: Providing product education to consumers and distribution partners, the utilization of a focused trade marketing strategy, and account development through a strategic sales process. The Area Manager is also responsible for providing support to key partners and aligning themselves with the overall strategy of the account. DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES :Complete Annual and Quarterly Business Plans to strategically plan visits and maximize efficiency :Incorporate Quarterly Workplan elements into execution and strategic plan :Analyze business trends and make adjustments as needed :Determine which accounts/stores should be focused on via a Good, Better, Best segmentation model :Develop initiatives and plans to support increased sales and additional store distribution :Visit retail accounts based off of account classification and associated frequency :Develop relationships with Dispensary owners and Budtenders to increase Orchid Essentials loyalty Ensure that all 5P conditions are met in each retail account :Document and track all associated metrics in CRM System :Ensure that any and all follow:up items are routed to the appropriate person : :Regularly check Wholesale reporting, CRM, and other dashboards/reports to track sales and key metrics to evaluate opportunities and strategically plan time :Execute all merchandising according to launch plan, promotions, and other market opportunities as defined in the Workplan :Assist in developing strategies to drive trial, increase revenue, and make Orchid Essentials a top brand within the cannabis space :Identify development opportunities with Manager and create a time:bound plan to address :Work with Wholesale Partners a min of four days per month (ride:along) :Develop relationships and foster a healthy partner relationship :Ensure all partners are up:to:date on current sales trends, market activity, launches, etc. :Onboard all New Accounts according to retail strategy :Ensure samples are dropped off :Conduct Budtender training within 2 weeks of new store being brought:on :Merchandise store according to A, B, C classification and ensure all 5P conditions are met :Conduct Brand Events/PADs to promote Orchid Essentials and increase sales :Pre:book product during scheduling to support Brand Event (mandatory) :Document visit in CRM System :Analyze metrics after event to measure ROI and adjust strategy accordingly :Adhere to company policy and budget for any and all spending :Meet established quarterly KPIs and goals; update Regional Sales Manager with progress and anticipated results QUALIFICATIONS x25CF; 3:five years of experience in account management/sales x25CF; Experience selling into retail, chain management, or equivalent account managerial experience x25CF; Cannabis industry experience is preferred but not required x25CF; Bachelors Degree or equivalent applicable experience x25CF; Self:motivated, detail:oriented, process:oriented, and well:organized x25CF; Expertise to manage multiple tasks concurrently in a fast:paced environment x25CF; Possesses a strong, current portfolio of cannabis industry relationships x25CF; Outstanding written and verbal communication expertise x25CF; Strong working understanding of CRM systems BENEFITS x25CF; Great benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance x25CF; Unlimited time off policy and paid holidays x25CF; Opportunity to be a part of an exciting new industry x25CF; Working with a talented and dedicated group x25CF; Casual atmosphere with professional standards ABO
