SFV Services is looking for an energized and driven Architect/Project Manager with 5+ years of experience to join our team! As an Architect/Project Manager, you will apply your knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, strategic thinking, and collaborative skills to manage projects from inception through the final stages of construction. This includes managing client relationships, developing and presenting design proposals, preparing drawings, specifications, construction documents, and managing project teams. You should be able to take ownership of your projects, be in the design and construction of a new building, an extension, or alterations project, and deliver on the client s requirements. Responsibilities Control project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design Develop ideas keeping in mind client’s needs, building’s usage and environmental impact Produce detailed drawings and make any necessary corrections Compile project specifications Keep within budgets and timelines Ensure that all works are carried out to specific standards, building codes, guidelines and regulations Coordinate all documentation associated with construction, RFI s, change orders and document submissions. Coordinate with outsource architectural and MEP consultants to ensure Starbucks brand standards are met, and necessary permits obtain. Create renderings for presentations, coordinate architectural and MEP elements in projects. Requirements and skills Proven working experience as an Architect Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, 3d Studio VIZ or similar) Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions Visual awareness and an eye for detail Communication and project management skills BS degree in Architecture NCARB Certified preferred Powered by JazzHR
