Job purpose: The Apprentice will facilitate expansion of skilled labor required for growing demands of Alimak and Tall Crane's future. The Apprentice will maintain, refurbish, rebuild, reorder, remanufacture, reengineer, and resupply the multitudes of consumable mechanical parts of construction hoists, crane maintenance, and any emergency field breakdowns. The Apprentice will be responsible for maintaining a full stock of parts to reduce lost time and to expedite the technical day-to-day operations. Responsibilities Servicing and Repairing transmissions and motors for our cranes and service elevators. Ensuring all measures of safety and standards are met before, during and after the service operations of our equipment. Providing honest and reliable services for our customers. Traveling to job sites to diagnose, service and repair equipment. Ensure all work is completed in a safe and professional manner. Participate in all mandatory safety and job-related training. Requirements Ticketed Millwright (Exception may be made for level 3 and 4 apprentice millwrights with exceptional mechanical knowledge and ability). Physically able to climb our cranes and perform work at heights. Minimum of 3 years experience working in the trade.
