Position Summary The Product Development Engineer will be expected to support R&D projects through effective collaboration with R&D colleagues, and at times, with commercial team members, application engineers, external customers, and external suppliers. The Product Development Engineer will conduct experiments, analyze data, and present findings in written and oral formats. Key Responsibilities Write and Attend RDT's with Supervision (Ex: Raw Material Substitution Trials) Compile Data and Draw Conclusions Perform Basic Lab Testing (Peels, Loop Tacks, Release, etc.) Submit Analytical Requests and Interpret Results to Sales Build Rapport with Sales, Marketing, and Key Customers Travel with Supervision to Customers Answer Basic Technical Questions Such as Information Typically Found in Performance Guides or in Specs Scope: Decision Impact: Department Department Responsibility: Research & Development Budgetary (P&L) Responsibility: No Direct Reports: No Physical Requirements: If Applicable Management Responsibilities Level: Individual Contributor / Entry-Level Reports to: Chip Ficyk Location: Stow Travel: 25%+ Selection Criteria: Education: Bachelor of Science degree required (Chemical Engineer Preferred) Experience: Industry experience is not required. 0-2 years of experience in research and development (internship and/or professional) Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office experience required (if applicable) ERP Experience preferred. Intermediate problem-solving and analytical skills. Other: Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
