Analyst - North American Commodity Risk Middle Office - Decatur, ILThis is an exempt level position Position Summary: The Commodity Risk Middle Office (CRMO) team provides high quality risk management services to different ADM Business Units and subsidiaries operating in North America and also globally. The CRMO is producing daily risk position reports to support commercial personnel with information to manage their risk positions within the Businesses. The scope includes all of ADM's Business Units across a range of grains, oilseeds, feedstuffs and other agricultural commodities. The job posting combines cross-departmental work on trading, logistics and involves active interaction with Commercial and IT Delivery Services. Job Responsibilities: Develop and maintain daily risk reporting involving physical contracts, inventory, commodity and foreign exchange derivatives in close cooperation with commercial.* Help others in group build and maintain position reports.* Support the company's efforts in further enhancing and developing the basis for position reporting regarding technical set-up, processes and procedures.* Validate positions by reconciling the daily activity changes to the expected outcome from trading groups.* Primary person to support and maintain the CRMO's SQL database.* Further enhance and expand the CRMO's use of databases (e.g SQL). Requirements: * Engaged and team-oriented pragmatist with a proactive, goal-oriented work attitude* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and BI solutions (e.g. Power BI)* Experience in using a programming language (e.g. VBA or PowerShell), working with & maintaining databases (e.g. SQL, Access) using e.g. Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, DB2 Management Studio and SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services).* Good knowledge about the commodity trading business, preferably the segments where ADM is active in* Knowledge about OTC and exchange-traded derivatives trading and its back office functions and procedures is a plus* Open mindset for change and aptitude to search for improvement* Good communication skills combined with an analytical mindset* Bachelor or Master degree in economics, finance or other relevant field preferably with first relevant professional experience Archer Daniels Midland Company is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
