Job Description Part-Time Custodial/Maintenance Staff Starting Rate $10.75/hr and up based on experience Available Hours Monday through Friday afternoon hours available 15-20 hours per week Qualifications Six months or more of related experience preferred Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents. Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment. Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use. Willing to work as a team player. Responsibilities Ensures Y is attractive and clean by completing all duties listed on the daily schedule and maintains upkeep of assigned area and equipment. May perform dusting, mopping, trash removal, recycling, replacing soap & hand sanitizer cartridges, window washing, pool cleaning, painting, vacuuming, seasonal lawn care / snow removal, and general cleaning. Assist with minor repairs, preventative maintenance duties, safety equipment checks any other duties as assigned by supervisor. *** Part-time staff receive complimentary memberships and discounted rates for child care and most programs.
