Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Position Summary: Our client, a reputable manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join their team for the night shift. This role involves maintaining and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and equipment. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Testing and Inspection: Test and visually inspect machinery and equipment to identify issues. Troubleshoot machinery and equipment to diagnose problems. Maintenance and Repair: Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts. Clean and/or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Install and repair electrical apparatus based on training and skill set. Perform advanced electrical work, facility repairs, hydraulic, pneumatic, and pump repairs, basic to advanced HVAC, masonry, carpentry, and plumbing. Safety Compliance : Follow plant safety procedures and guidelines. Understand emergency procedures and know what to do in case of power outages, machine failures, workplace injuries, etc. Wear and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Understand and identify Lock-out/Tag-out procedures. Inform supervisor of safety issues and report any workplace injury or incident immediately. Qualifications: 3-5 years of proven experience in electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Preferred manufacturing experience. Mechanical experience/knowledge preferred. Computer skills. Advanced electrical ability. Advanced programming skills preferred. Experience with basic to advanced PLC.
