Your Role: As an Actuarial Analyst IV you will research and develop new methods for insurance rating. Prepares and coordinates analyses of rate filings to be submitted to rate regulatory agencies and insurance agencies. You will also act as project leader for relatively complex projects. Your work: Analyze large datasets related to complex actuarial functionsEvaluate currents rates based on historical loss experience, emerging risks, and market dynamics. Monitor pricing performance and make adjustments to achieve profitability targetsDevelops and analyzes new methodologies for insurance ratingEvaluates analytical work done by others and makes decisions and recommendations that take into account internal and external environmentProvides training to Actuarial Analysts Required Experience, Education and Skills BA/BS in statistics, mathematics, actuarial science or related areaAt least 4 years of experience performing statistical and actuarial analysis on personal lines pricing insuranceCompletion of 5 or more actuarial examsProficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages, such as: SQL, R, Python, Radar, etc.Strong analytical and communication skills What would make us excited about you? CSAA Insurance Group is an equal opportunity employer. The national average salary range for this position is $122,00-$136,000. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire in is $110,000-$164,000. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 10% of eligible pay.If you apply and are selected to continue in the recruiting process, we will schedule a preliminary call with you to discuss the role and will disclose during that call the available salary/hourly rate range based on your location. Factors used to determine the actual salary offered may include location, experience, or education.
